Position Purpose
Based in Jaipur, India, the role is part of a global accounting team that delivers high quality accounting service to clients. The role-holder will contribute to the company’s success and productivity by providing our clients with a full range of quality bookkeeping and accounting services. The role is busy and demanding.

As part of our operational team, you will be responsible for managing accounting operations intern staff on a day-to-day basis.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain computerised general ledgers, including dealing with high volumes of data entry and coding.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and submit reports for Assistant Managers to review and approve.
• Manage clients’ accounts payables, accounts receivables, payroll and fixed asset ledgers.
• Analyse client data and develop intelligent reporting metrics and dashboards to help provide key insights to our clients’ businesses.
• Create budgets and track performance and analyse reasons for budget variances; create cash flow forecasts and rolling forecasts.
• Supervise and review work of up to two interns, who process transactions, and ensure high standards are maintained at all times.
• Achieve budgeted chargeable hours, fees, and profitability targets.
• Assist with onboarding processes for new clients assigned to your portfolio.
• Collaborate with other non-accounting staff to ensure appropriate support is provided to our accounting teams, as and when required.
• Provide quality hands-on “record-to-report” accounting services and ensure excellent client relationships are maintained.
• Stay up to date with latest changes to indirect tax and payroll legislation by attending online webinars, reading relevant material, etc.
• Assist with other general book-keeping and accounting duties, as required.
Qualifications, Required Skills and Experience
• ACCA/CA students with some prior experience in an accounting environment, OR M.Com/B.Com/MBA with 2+ years’ experience (ESSENTIAL).
• Xero Certified (DESIRABLE).
• Good English written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, well organised, able to work in a reactive and fast paced environment, and prepared to work hard.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Dropbox, Google Drive
