Job Title:
Assistant Finance Controller, India
Location/s:
Bangalore IND - Main RdResponsibilities:
• To support all compliance related tasks such as USGAAP month end reporting, general accounting functions.
• Ensure proper SOX and other internal controls in place, Coordinate with Shared services -RTR teams for balance sheet reconciliations and other quality checks;
• Overseeing AP process and act as liaison with SBD India BU- Malaysia Control Tower – Shared Services for issue resolution, GRIR ageing review
• Support for local treasury activities & work with banks for FX law compliances.
• Perform in-depth quality/analytical checks for freight, duty, other logistical warehouse costs, advertisement spend etc. work within SAP and other systems data to support local finance / controllership team to improve overall month end accruals and other reporting requirements
• Acquisition / Integration support to ensure proper accounting flow and opening/closing balance sheet accuracy.
• Work closely with Stanley Black & Decker cross functional teams with a strong focus on SBD process integration.
• Support in external and internal audit requirements, schedules, and findings
• Work across our global business, global shared services and with a variety of corporate functions to provide guidance and oversite of the SBD control environment.
• DOA compliance, updates, and communications.Requirements :
• CA is mandatory
• SAP experienced candidates preferable
• 3-5 years' experience in global environment
• Have an in-depth knowledge in the accounting & finance domain
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills,
