Job Description
Responsibilities: Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of ecommerce business models and metrics.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making. Conduct thorough financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize revenue, profitability, and cash flow. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to the executive team.
Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits, tax filings, and other compliance matters.
Cash Flow Management: Develop cash flow projections and optimize working capital to support business operations and growth. Implement effective cash management strategies, including monitoring receivables and payables, inventory levels, and payment terms with suppliers.
Risk Management and Internal Controls: Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Establish and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic background.
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
Sound knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation methodologies.
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial management software).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at various levels.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Prior experience in the technology industry will be an advantage.
