As the Assistant Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial success through excellent leadership of the Factory Finance Team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, drive efficiencies, support strategic decisions, and embed Finance as a business partner. Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering & Cultural Transformation: Embed Finance within the business, support cultural transformation, provide financial insights, and drive strategic decisions.
Leadership & Management: Lead and develop a team of six, ensuring motivation and high performance.
Operational: Manage day-to-day finance tasks, produce monthly accounts, perform variance analysis, and improve processes.
Control, Governance, and Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance, assist with year-end processes, and support internal audits.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and submit budgets and forecasts, liaising with departments and challenging assumptions.

Ideal Experience / Skills
A degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent finance focused subject and/or a professional finance qualification
Proven experience of working in a similar role and / or at an equivalent level in a comparable business
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
Experience of working in manufacturing or a similar industry sector would be highly beneficial
Fluent in written and spoken English
Additional Personal Characteristics
Can do attitude and the ability to learn quickly
Willing to travel internationally and comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment
