As an Assistant in Nursing, you'll play an essential role in supporting safe, dignified and person-centred care for older adults and rural community members. From helping consumers maintain comfort and independence, to working closely with nurses to deliver high-quality support, you'll be part of a team that creates meaningful outcomes every day.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
A relevant Certificate III qualification or active progress through a recognised nursing degree.
Compassionate, consumer-focused communication and a commitment to safe practice.
Ability to work within a team, follow delegated instructions and contribute positively to workplace culture.
Willingness to undertake shiftwork and manual handling as required.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in rural health, aged care or community care settings, and/or additional training that enhances your clinical support skills.
