If you desire to be part of something special, to be part of a winning team, to be part of a fun team – winning is fun. we are looking forward assistant manager- data management based in pondicherry, india. in eaton, making our work exciting, engaging, meaningful; ensuring safety, health, wellness; and being a model of inclusion & diversity are already embedded in who we are - it’s in our values, part of our vision, and our clearly defined aspirational goals. this exciting role offers opportunity to: the senior product data analyst implements the product data life cycle maintenance for central and division’s products in the erp and pim systems. in this role the data steward will receive instructions from the central mdm lead data stewards (located in europe) and from the manager – data management (located in pondicherry). additionally will lead the local pim and erp data analyst central team with direct reports. the senior product data steward analyst will ensure the accuracy completeness, and consistency of eaton’s product master data and thereby support the implementation of the balanced scorecard for the divisions of eaton’s electrical sector emea. erp + pim • create product data scorecard & dashboards for es-emea. • support projects & on demand analysis based on business requirement. • provide impact analysis of any changes in the system or process. • use data quality tools to analyze the data for quality or harmonization purposes • support uat/crp testing for any new system implementation / sap migration projects or sap enhancement projects, • support data maintenance for item phase out process • support on demand root cause analysis & provide solution • understand the interface logic and data flow between the system. • run detailed master data reports and support the product data analytics specialist in generating the metrics. • create and update the documents like work instruction, process flow chart or swim line diagrams. • create and enhance the power bi reports based on requirements. • continuously improve the business process by identifying new methodologies or new tools introduced in eaton. • support & co-ordinate with lead data steward for any new process implementation or data enrichment in erp system due to the regional policy announcements. • co-ordinate with technical team and implement the changes in erp & pim systems as per the lds/business requirement. • responsible to monitor the interface between system, and maintain the new values in respective mapping tables as per the procedure. erp – specific • migrate items to different erp systems to enable sales synergy across systems • improve the data life cycle processes with the support of the central mdm team • send updates to local organizations with non-integrated stand-alone erp systems • govern interface reports from master data interfaces •provide guidance / solution to division on master data related issues. qualificationsrequirement: be/b.tech electrical /mechanical or engineering degree 6 - + years - proven and solid experience working in the following erp system : both sap and oracle • strong verbal and written communication skills in english • • strong data analytic skillset • good interpersonal skills and planning ability • high level of attention to detail • highly ethical and able to work in cross functional team experience in solid works and autocad a strong plus ms excel, power bi, sap & oracle
