Responsibilities
· Conducts Training Needs Identification (TNI) and Analysis (TNA) for the Hotel and drives training across all levels in co-ordination with the General Manager and HODs.
· Conducts regular LQA, Bureau Veritas, grooming audits in all departments to track compliance to standards and identify training needs to be incorporated in department and Hotel training calendars.
· Monitors the NPS scores and organises focused interventions.
o Conducts the guest service excellence behavioral modules and ensure all employees are covered.
· Monitors the Glitch reports and works with the Small Improvement Teams (SITs) to organise focused interventions.
· Organises compliance and mandatory training for all employees and conducts relevant modules e.g. prevention of ****** harassment, safety hazards.
· Tracks the technical training of new and existing employees by departments through audit and record checks.
· Supports technical training by conducting sessions e.g. LQA and coordinating external resources e.g. OCLD or beverage suppliers.
· Responsible for the behavioral training calendar of the Hotel for all employees and contractual staff.
o Designs, develops and conducts customized behavioral modules based on Hotel specific needs.
· Organises Company and Hotel orientation for new employees and conducts the relevant modules.
· Develops certified department trainers with training skills, conducts training quality audits and provides feedback.
· In hotels with Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) arranges all the elements required by the programme from orientation, execution of training components, supervision of study days, accommodation, assessments and discipline.
· Co-ordinates with Corporate HR and OCLD on all employee development programmes and organizes their implementation.

· Arranges the sourcing, screening, selection, induction and tracking of all industrial trainees and interns whilst adhering to the highest standards.
· Coordinates and facilitates exposure trainings of hotel employees with other Hotels / Institutions.
· Coordinates the welcome, accommodation and training plans of incoming employees from other hotels on cross exposure.
· Develops and implements hotel specific initiatives to facilitate people development, recognition and career paths.
· Responsible for the Learning & Development dimension of the Employee Engagement Survey, its results, action planning and follow up.
· Responsible for preparing training budgets in consultation with the HR Manager and adherence.
· Responsible for the physical upkeep of all areas under Training.
· Responsible for maintenance up-to-date records of all training delivered, analytics and tracking of training mandays targets of departments.
· Identifies and develops pool of external trainers and experts to facilitate specific workshops for the Hotel across various levels, if needed
· Continuously assesses the training strategy, execution and feedback to make modifications wherever necessary to make it more effective.
· Ensures that he / she is the role model and a key driver of the organisational culture and The Oberoi Dharma.
· Keeps up to date with latest developments in the Training and Development space to ensure effective training outcomes.
· Supports Human Resources in organising hotel forums for employees engagement and welfare e.g. - General Manager’s Address, Fresh Eyes.
· Supports Human Resources in campus recruitment for OCER.
· Supports processes for OCLD internal recruitment.
