Job Description
Designation: Assistant Manager - Accounting
Accounting:
• Governance on outsourced Accounts Payable and Receivable function
• Reviewing Fixed asset accounting, maintaining FA register and exercise capex control
• Reviewing inventory accounting, supporting cost accounting and variance analysis
• Overseeing General ledger entries and ensuring accuracy
• Managing Intercompany transactions
Taxation:
• Direct Taxes
o Tax management including related compliances and returns/filings.
o Managing of tax books and getting the same audited.
o Perform International Transfer Pricing compliances.
o Supporting tax assessments in coordination with consultants and authorities.
• Indirect Tax
o Indirect tax management including master data, compliances, returns and managing audits.
o Implementing tax optimization, managing refunds, evaluation of tax benefit schemes.
o Ensure compliances related to EOU/DGFT/Foreign trade policy.
Banking:
• Manage banking relationship and ensuring AD compliances.
• Liaise with banks for various initiatives, improvements and troubleshooting.
Projects and improvements:
• Support implementation of corporate Finance programs, processes and initiatives.
• Contribute to performance management and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
• Chartered Accountant
• 5+ years' of F&P & Taxation experience in Manufacturing Industries
• Strong verbal or written communication skills
