Key Roles And Responsibilities:-
Drafting, reviewing and managing a wide range of commercial contracts, including EPC Contracts, O&M Contracts, Financing Agreements, Land Aggregation MOUs, Service and Consultancy Contracts, NDAs, Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds and other company contracts.
Providing timely, accurate, independent and commercial pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders while highlighting and managing legal and commercial risk.
Assisting in formulating the strategy for resolution of contractual disputes.
Providing day to day legal support to the business of the company in India for all phases of project life cycle.
Validating legally f processes and policies of the company, including business development, marketing, sales, human resources, finance, commercial, acquisition, customer service…etc.
Executing, implementing and enforcing covenants of agreements.
Reviewing and preparing tender documents / RfPs / RfQs and providing legal opinion and risk analysis on relevant clauses therein.
Qualifications:-
Bachelor’s degree in Law.
Knowledge of substantive contractual, business, commercial and property laws.
Experience:-
3-5 years of PQE within a leading law firm.
Independent, hands-on and driven with the aptitude and attitude to learn, embrace and adapt to changes.
Experience of working in the solar power industry and handling PPA related issues will be an added advantage.
Other Key Skills:-
Dedication to the transaction/projects handled, with a problem-solving approach and ability to work with relevant stakeholders to drive successful completion of the transactions/projects
Knowledge of land acquisition related issues and processes will be an added advantage.
