A Business Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Talent Business Advisors and Business Analysts in the delivery of strategic services to the Business. The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills and will be analytical, organized, capable of handling multiple priorities at once, and someone who can flourish in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
As a Business Analyst you will help to foster change throughout the organization and ensure that Talent strategies are aligned with the firm’s culture in the following ways:
Support the compensation team including analysis, process execution, and communications
Provide compensation reporting, data reconciliation, and analysis for the Talent Business Advisor team, examples include:
Off-cycle compensation (retention bonuses and salary adjustments) spend vs. budget
Rewards and recognition spend vs. budget
Support execution of strategic compensation initiatives in addition to year-end compensation planning
Support Business Advisors in partnering and collaborating with the Compensation Center of Excellence (COE) & US Employee Lifecycle Events Compensation team on aligning their strategies, programs and policies to ensure effective service delivery across compensation actions
Manage compensation-related budgets to ensure effective and maximized spending across the business
Manage special requests such as data clean up, regular data review, survey creation and reporting
Support the Business Advisor team to identify key compensation issues or trends the business is facing, present the data in a meaningful way, and help formulate actions to address the issues
Provide insights on potential business implications by identifying trends/patterns from historical compensation data and help build action plans with improvements/refinements
The Team
Talent team offers HR solutions by tapping into the different aspects of HR policies, to ensure every professional’s engagement with the organization is meaningful. It is structured into five major organizations: Talent Acquisition, Talent Delivery, Talent Development, Talent Specialties and Talent Operations. As part of the Business Advisory team, you will work with our business leaders, foster change throughout the organization and ensure that Talent strategies are aligned with the firm’s culture
Qualifications:
Education:
Required:
Education: MBA or Equivalent Degree
Experience Required: 4-8 years
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder management
Strong Business acumen
Logical structuring and root cause analysis
Ability to manage multiple processes and workstreams
Strong technical skills
Advanced Excel (dashboarding, macros, visualization, pivot tables, calculated fields),
Advanced PowerPoint (storyboarding, formatting, slide master manipulation, presentation of metrics/KPIs
Data Cleaning (collate data from multiple sources and address inconsistencies)
Quality Assurance (scrutinize inputs and final deliverables)
Preferred Skills:
HRBP experience
Technical skills:
Business Intelligence Analysis (translate reporting requirements into actionable intelligence)
Basic Power BI/Tableau (data visualization)
Good knowledge of analytics
