Assistant Management Accountant (Property- Block Management)
Location: Borough, London
Hours: 08.30-17.00hrs, Monday to Friday
Type: Hybrid working (2days from home)
• Previous experience within block management accounts is essential
Our client is a leading independent property consultancy in the UK.
You will be working alongside the management accountant to deliver on the day to day accounting and reporting to a single client on an estate of properties based in London.
Main Duties To Include
• Assisting the management accountant with the preparation of monthly / quarterly reporting as required
• Assisting the team with purchase ledger queries
• Assisting with budgeting, reconciliation, and cash reconciliation
• Liaison with purchase ledger & treasury teams
• Help the onsite team with administrative and other ad hoc tasks as required.
• Rent review forms
• To chase up tenant arrears, keep up to date commentary on older outstanding arrears and flag where there are bad debt risk concerns
• Attendance at client meetings and presenting on aged debt.
• Invoice processing and enquires
• Dealing with utility and council tax bills and queries
Requirements
• Relevant experience of working in a property agency environment.
• The successful candidate will be organised, driven, and energetic individual who can pick up systems quickly.
• Proven track record of delivering to a high standard in line with all set deadlines.
