Argo Group is excited to invite experienced claims professionals to apply for the role of Assistant Vice President, Inland Marine Claims Management. This key leadership position reports to the SVP, Specialty Claims, and oversees our dynamic Inland Marine Claims Department.

Your Role in Creating Impact
• Provide Expert Guidance: Deliver specialized claims expertise in Inland Marine policies, including Builders Risk, Contractor's Equipment, Commercial Output, Difference in Conditions, Installation Floater, and Ocean Marine Motortruck/Cargo, while ensuring timely and cost-effective litigation strategies.
• Champion Strong Claims Management: Set and achieve performance goals, implementing data-driven claim strategies to enhance overall management practices.
• Lead Process Improvements: Collaborate across departments to enhance systems, workflows, and operational efficiency for better outcomes.
• Develop High-Performing Teams: Recruit, coach, and retain talented claims professionals, nurturing their technical expertise and commitment to exceptional service.
• Model Our Values: Embody Argo's principles, promoting a positive culture focused on growth and long-term success.

Qualifications for Success
• Extensive Experience: Over a decade of experience in Inland Marine claims, including five-plus years in leadership roles focused on high performance.
• Advanced Skills: Proficiency in claims resolution, settlement practices, and technical procedures, delivering consistent and efficient results.
• Strong Business Acumen: Proven analytical decision-making abilities and resilience, thriving in dynamic environments.
• Emotional Intelligence: Ability to foster collaboration, provide impactful coaching, and build strong relationships across teams.
• Effective Communication: Confidently engage with executive leadership and peers using polished presentation skills and proficiency in key business software.

We value in-person collaboration and ask our team members to work primarily from the office to strengthen communication and create a supportive, productive environment.

The base salary range for this position is between $166,000 - $194,000, depending on experience and location. This role also includes eligibility for a bonus as per the incentive plan. We offer competitive and comprehensive benefits packages.
