Job Overview
This job role will require the incumbent to lead & manage the Rural Risk Policy function of the company by developing and implementing risk policies and strategies tailored to rural markets, ensuring effective risk management across all rural operations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop risk policies and strategies specifically designed for rural areas, considering the unique characteristics, challenges, and opportunities present.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses to identify potential threats and opportunities associated with rural lending and investment activities.
- Collaborate with various departments including credit risk, operational risk, compliance, and rural development teams to ensure comprehensive risk management across rural operations.
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing risk policies and procedures in rural areas, and recommend adjustments or enhancements as needed.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to rural finance and risk management, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company's risk management framework, with a focus on rural expansion and inclusivity.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to teams involved in implementing risk policies and procedures in rural areas.
