Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be a California licensed attorney with experience in personal injury and employment law. This role will provide an opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain valuable experience and become a member of a growing law office.
Pay is DOE and candidate's desire for bonus v. wage compensation.
• Duties
- Draft and file complaints.
- Attend depositions.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Negotiate with opposing parties and assist in settlement negotiations.
- Manage and maintain organized case files and legal records.
- Participate in case management and assist in trial preparation.
- Collaborate with other attorneys to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Experience
- Must be a licensed attorney with a strong background in personal injury and employment law.
- Proven experience in a law office setting, with substantial responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills, self-starter and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Westlaw and other legal research tools.
- Ability to write clearly and effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in settlement negotiations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $+2,381.00 - $141,454.00 per year
