Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled professional to support business teams in drafting, vetting and negotiating agreements related to business development, international business, trusts and other activities. This individual will advise on and structure agreements to align with the deal at hand and ensure that the company's interests are protected.
The successful candidate will work with stakeholders at various locations to ensure necessary statutory compliances are in place. They will provide general legal advice and support by acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders.
• Drafting, structuring, vetting, negotiating and finalizing agreements in line with the business understanding and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation for the Company.
• Reviewing the statutory compliances at various locations and suggesting remedial measures. Working with concerned stakeholders to ensure remedial measures are put in place in a timely manner.
• Understanding the business and analysing the risk involved and advising on mitigating liabilities for the Company.
• Advising the stakeholders from time to time on various issues.
Educational Qualifications
• A degree in Law (LL.B. / LL.M.)
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Drafting, vetting and negotiating various kinds of agreements within India and cross border.
• Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation and Intellectual Property law would be advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills and business and financial acumen.
• Strong communications and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high quality agreements and other documents.
• Well-versed in how business operates in a high degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.
• Ability to have influence across all levels of the business including peers and senior management, and able to work independently.
• Detail-oriented, good judgement and sound risk mitigating skills.

What will you do?
● Partner with GTM and sales leaders to structure, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts with
distributors, OEMs, enterprise customers, and channel partners.
● Drive agile and compliant GTM execution, including product launches, consumer warranties,
after-sales programs, and marketing communications.
● Advise on AI governance, data usage, licensing, and responsible AI frameworks, ensuring
alignment with DPDP, GDPR, global AI regulations, and emerging Indian laws.
● Shape internal policies around responsible and ethical AI, balancing innovation with regulatory
guardrails.
● Protect and commercialize IP, algorithms, and proprietary datasets across AI and EV businesses.
● Lead implementation of data privacy and cybersecurity frameworks, covering cross-border data
transfers and compliance-by-design.
● Manage regulatory risks, disputes, and external counsel strategy, ensuring proactive risk
mitigation.
● Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing commercially relevant legal guidance at
high speed.
What are we looking for?
● LL.B. (LL.M. preferred) with 12–16 years PQE across law firms and in-house roles.
● Strong experience in technology/AI, data privacy, and commercial contracting; exposure to
consumer-facing industries is a plus.
● Expertise in DPDP, GDPR, AI regulation, consumer law, and commercial negotiations.
● Exceptional ability to balance legal risk with business agility.
● Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills; experience building or mentoring legal
teams is an advantage.
