Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to oversee complex employee relations cases within our Talent and Culture organization. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring a respectful workplace and guiding our employees through challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations cases of moderate to high complexity, providing expert guidance by applying thorough knowledge of HR policies.
• Lead internal investigations, becoming the go-to expert in employment practices, to effectively resolve complex employee relations challenges.
• Offer counsel on complicated investigations regarding policy violations, perceived unfair treatment, and workplace concerns.
• Supervise performance management documentation, mediate conflicts, and oversee requests for accommodations.
• Advise managers at all levels on critical HR issues to enhance the employee and client experience.
• Support the annual performance assessment and salary review process, providing insightful reporting and analysis as needed.
• Uphold KPMG's values by acting with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to our collaborative workplace culture.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of eight years of relevant HR experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, or business administration; a Master’s degree or PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and employee engagement strategies.
• Proven relationship-building skills with partners and employees, coupled with the ability to challenge the status quo effectively.
• Strong coaching, training, and problem-solving abilities; capable of managing a high volume of work with consistency.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
