Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to oversee daily operations within a healthcare or dental office setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience with electronic medical records, and familiarity with medical and dental terminology. This role involves managing office functions, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations to facilitate smooth and efficient practice operations.
Responsibilities
Manage patient records using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and billing processes.
Support human resources functions including staff scheduling, onboarding, and training coordination.
Supervise administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Assist in budgeting, inventory management, and procurement of office supplies.
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and assist with audits or documentation requirements.
Collaborate with medical or dental professionals to streamline office procedures.
Handle correspondence, phone inquiries, and patient communications professionally.
Support the implementation of new office policies or procedures as needed.

At least 3 years experience
Requirements
Proven experience in a dental or medical office environment, preferably with experience in hospital or acute care settings.
Proficiency in Tracker or similar electronic dentistry records systems.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
Previous supervising or team leadership experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with budgeting processes within a healthcare setting.
Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, onboarding, or training.
Knowledge of hospital or nursing operations is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and professionalism to interact with patients, staff, and external vendors effectively.
