Role
Associate Engineer- Design operations (Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation)
Experience
1 - 3 years
Responsibilities
• Handle project cases, which include estimates, Auto CAD 2Ddesigns drafting, blue beam and interpret mark-ups & writeups.
• Knowledge in the Lighting domain will be advantageous and highly preferred.
• Prepare customer proposals including BOM, BOQs, RFQ & RFI etc.
• Analyze the basis of design specific to project case requirements and work closely with the Pre-sales / Post-sales team.
• Participate in internal design huddles to understand if we meet customer-specific intent before drawings are finalized and released for production/Site execution.
• Identify solutions to improve design efficiency and improve workflow.
• Capture customers’ business requirements in any of the CRMs and develop new designs and retrofits solutions to the case-to-case requirement.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of project workload and rebalances work as needed.
• Strong knowledge of International BIM LOD standards and ability to understand the information received from various formats and standards.
• Should have the ability to work within a project team (designers, engineers).
• Should have interest and ability to work in an international environment.
• Proactively identifies and communicated areas of deficiency/gaps along with proposed solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
