Job Purpose
• Responsible for Financial analysis and reporting.
• Responsible for coordination with Accounting Shared Services Organization.
• Support management on CAPEX projects
• Support India Pricing function
Principal Accountabilities
Month end process –
• Monitor with the help of ASSC, required accounting entries to be passed e.g. bad debts accruals, Inventory accurals
• Submission of Allocation Key to International Finance Reporting Team
• Circulation of Fixed cost budget Vs Actual report to Individual cost center owners
• Support to country manager for presentation in Leadership Team meetings.
Preparation of monthly reports –
• Preparation of Contribution Margin Report and Cost to Serve reports
• Preparation of Fixed Cost reports and analyze the actual performance
• Preparation of Finance Slides for business performance on monthly basis and discuss with ISC commercial operations team
Coordination with Accounting Shared Service Centre Organization–
• To coordinate with R2R for credit notes to be processed in time as per the SOX processes flow chart for return material, rebate, compensation etc.
• To coordinate on behalf of business with the credit function so as to ensure that business is smooth while balancing collection & over dues.
• Provide inputs for cash flow forecast and forward contract bookings as per Treasury Dept’s direction to Treasury Manager in India.
Supporting business decision making –
• Help in preparation of business case for pricing or sourcing decisions to support sales function
• Work with commercial teams to analyze actual performance and prepare forecasts of sales, contribution margin, fixed costs and EBITDA on continuous basis and check for accuracy
• Tracking the execution of Long term business strategy with KRA/KPI charts.
Support Pricing Function
• To ensure timely update of price in SAP
• To ensure appropriate retention of records for SOX and IA compliance
• Timely review and appropriate pricing process alignment
• Ensure upfront checks on lower margin business
Skills -
• Working knowledge of SAP
• HSIMS and IBM planning and Analytics (Preferred)
• Ability to work effectively in Matrix Organizations
KEY COMPETENCIES -
• Charted Accountant
• Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in financial analysis with an MNC
• Knowledge of SAP is critical
• Proficiency in MS Office is critical
• Effective Interpersonal communication skills
