Role & Responsibilities
• reparation of the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IND AS, IFRS and USGAAP
• Support internal and external audit processes including the review and/or preparation of working papers, schedules, analysis and other required documentation
• Prepare regulatory reporting as required by the local regulatory authorities.
• Strong understanding of trade life cycle and settlement process and funding requirements in India.
• Liaise with internal resources - Operations, HR, IT, Risk, Audit, Tax etc. to ensure India legal entities meet the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables and deadlines.
• Review and/or preparation of India direct and indirect tax provision; including withholding tax and service tax compliance.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls are designed and operating effectively
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• Qualified Accountant CPA or equivalent
• 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience
• Understanding of broker dealer, banking, and tax regulations
• Good understanding of accounting standards under Indian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS
