Job Description

Client is seeking a talented and compassionate Family Law Attorney with at least 1 - 5 years of experience to join their Seattle Team. This role involves managing family law cases from start to finish, including client consultations, mediation and trial. Experience in estate Planning and probate is a plus, as they also handle this area.

Roles And Responsibilities
• Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients to assess their legal needs and offer appropriate legal guidance.
• Handle all aspects of family law cases, from client sign up through resolution, including mediation and trial.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, agreements and court orders.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring they are informed of case progress and next steps.
• Represent clients in court hearings and trials, ensuring the client's best interests are presented and protected.
• Attend mediation sessions and settlement conferences to negotiate favorable outcomes for clients.
• Prepare and submit all court required documents on time and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Manage Legal cases related to divorce, child custody, child support spouse support property division prenuptial agreements and other family law matters.
• Handle high conflicting cases with professionalism, ensuring the emotional and legal complexities of family law are managed effectively.
• Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to delegate tasks, review drafts and coordinate case work.
• Assist with estate planning and probate cases when necessary, providing legal advice on will trust and asset management (preferred but not required)

Skills And Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 -5 years of family law experience.
• Experience with estate planning and probate (preferred but not required).
• Licensed to practice law in Washington.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional travel for court appearances.
• Litigation experience is required.

Salary
• $110K - $160K
