Associate - M&A Transaction Tax - CA Firm - Mumbai

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our M&A Transaction Tax team. The role involves advising on the tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other complex transactions across various industries. You will be working closely with clients, legal advisors, and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive tax solutions throughout the deal lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Provide tax due diligence services, including risk assessment and mitigation Advise on tax structuring for domestic and cross-border M&A deals Assist in reviewing share purchase agreements, business transfer agreements, and other transaction documents from a tax perspective Model tax implications and optimize deal structures for efficiency Prepare reports and memos on tax implications and compliance requirements Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including lawyers, bankers, and clients Support post-deal integration from a tax perspective Key Requirements: CA / LLB / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification 1 –3 ] years of experience in M&A tax, corporate tax, or transaction advisory Solid understanding of corporate tax laws, international tax concepts, and regulatory frameworks (Income Tax Act, GAAR, FEMA, etc.) Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹213,734.53 - ₹+00,000.00 per year Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
