Description

Associate Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Reporting to the General Laboratory Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing superior customer satisfaction and ensuring the highest quality care and service. Performs a wide range of procedures including procedures of high complexity in at least 3 laboratory sections where one of the sections is blood bank/transfusion services.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Science.

upon hire: California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License. Or
upon hire: California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License. Or
upon hire: California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License. Or
upon hire: California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License. Or
upon hire: California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License. Or
upon hire: California Clinical Hematology Scientist License. Or
upon hire: California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License. Or
upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License.
Preferred qualifications:

upon hire: MT(ASCP) certification.
Must meet CLIA requirements for testing personnel, moderate to high complexity tests.
