We are seeking to establish a pool of Associate Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Eglinton Beach Primary School (PS) opened its doors to the community of Eglinton at the commencement of 2025. We are an inclusive school with classes from Kindergarten to Year Six, along with an Endorsed Education Support Program (EESP). Eglinton Beach PS has state of the art facilities and an engaged, collaborate staff. We are seeking to establish a pool of committed, resilient and highly motivated associate principals, who prioritise strong relationships with the whole school community. The Role

We are seeking to establish a pool of candidates for appointment to Level 3 Associate Principal roles arising from Term Two 2026. We are looking for distinct skill sets in one of the following areas:

Leading teaching and learning in the Endorsed Education Support Program (EESP) and for complex Tier Three students across a mainstream setting:
As a Deputy Principal, you should apply your professional knowledge and understanding to support staff, students and families in Students at Educational Risk (SAER) processes and practices.
Knowledge of meeting a range of complex student needs is highly desireable. The ability to analyse data to inform teaching and learning and documented planning, along with strong interpersonal skills when working with parents and stakeholders is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience of Disability Resourcing, connecting and engaging with (School of Special Educational Needs (SSEN) schools, therapists and external stakeholders is highly desirable. As the ability to coach and support staff in the development of effective teams, Individual Education Planning, Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and how this translates to effective delivery in the classroom is a key component of this role, applicants who display this ability are highly desirable.
Leading Teaching and Learning across K-6:
As an Associate Principal you should promote and maintain high expectations and lead Teaching, Learning and Assessment across the school.
Suitable applicants will ideally be collaborative and team focussed, working with the leadership team, teaching and support staff to establish and deliver programs and policies in a highly inclusive school with an EESP.
Suitable applicants should have knowledge and experience in leading and implementing contemporary curriculum and pedagogical practices to build teacher capacity across the breadth of the curriculum. You will ideally use data and research to inform decision making and use coaching to create and support effective teams. Knowledge of supporting a range of students at risk both academically and behaviourally is highly desirable.
Suitable applicants should display experience in effective change management, growing high performing teams and embedding a performance and development culture. Classroom observation and feedback cycles will be embedded in the roles as a means of promoting and strengthening ‘best practice’ teaching in the school.
