We are looking for a smart, results-oriented Associate - Site Merchandiser to be a part of growing our Amazon Health business. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing best-in-class site and email merchandising strategies for health products and services. This role is based in Bangalore.
As an Associate - Site Merchandiser for Amazon Health, you will ensure that customer experience and expectations are set and met to a high standard in the health and wellness space. You will execute and schedule content on emails, home pages, category pages, and pages across the Amazon Health site based on the instructions/inputs shared by the Marketing & Business . You'll also prepare reports on performance and traffic data related to health products and services for our management teams. Additionally, you'll assist in the creation of new brand and product stores for health-related items based on the inputs provided. This person will be involved in coordinating with health category managers, designers, and other editors in similar roles across the Amazon Health business.
Main responsibilities will include:
Coordinate with multiple teams to provide thorough creative content
Own sections of health store merchandising and curations
Run and analyze proof of performance reports for health products and services
Learn Merchandising tools and widgets specific to the health vertical
Assist in executing the plan as per the Amazon Health site merchandising calendar. This includes email programs for health products, new health product launches, cross-category placements within the health sector, developing and executing Amazon Health site-wide events, browse tree design for health categories, and search results optimization for health-related queries
Assist in developing merchandising for large storewide health promotions, and work closely with health category managers and merchandizing team to schedule promotions
Support the creation of health-focused emails, category pages, brand stores for health products, campaigns related to wellness and medical supplies, and develop and manage free search improvement projects for health queries
Synthesize and analyze relevant content/traffic metrics specific to the health vertical
The Associate - Site Merchandiser for Amazon Health must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically in the context of health and wellness. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
Designing and executing online campaigns which improve customer experience in the health space
Strong communication skills; experience in coordinating teams and communicating to Health Category Managers
Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize health-related initiatives
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up feature and customer segment recommendations in the health sector
Working independently on key deliverables related to Amazon Health
Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast-paced health and wellness environment
Capability to meet our technical requirements, which include HTML, XML and Excel, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly, with a focus on applications specific to health product merchandising
Key job responsibilities
Main responsibilities will include:
a) Coordinate with medical teams to plan and execute email campaigns, push notifications for appointment reminders, and A/B testing for patient engagement
b) Own healthcare service pages including clinic locations, diagnostic tests, and health packages
c) Generate and analyze healthcare service performance reports including appointment completion rates and patient satisfaction metrics
d) Utilize healthcare booking tools and patient engagement platforms
e) Execute promotional calendar including health checkup campaigns, preventive care programs, and diagnostic package launches; optimize service discovery and search results
f) Develop and implement healthcare promotional events (e.g., wellness camps, health screening drives) in coordination with medical providers
g) Create patient communication materials, service category pages, and clinic/lab partner pages; improve healthcare service searchability
h) Analyze patient engagement metrics, booking patterns, and service utilization data
1. Healthcare/E-commerce experience is a plus
2. Familiarity with Amazon AI tools for content generation
3. Knowledge of digital marketing (Google Adwords & Meta Platforms)
4. Familiarity with content management systems
5. Advanced Excel knowledge on Pivot Tables,
6. VLOOKUP & HLOOKUP
7. Basic SQL queries
