Key Duties:
carry out all tasks related to the operation of the aircraft
safely operate the aircraft in flight to support the safety and well-being of the crew, and the safety of cargo
ensure we operate in accordance with Civil Aviation Rules and with the instructions contained in the Flight Operations Exposition
report all incidents or accidents, including reporting requirements
be responsible for completing any relevant company records related to flights
Overview:
Airwork Fixed Wing (AFW) Division is part of the Airwork Group of Companies which is New Zealand’s largest freighter aviation business operating the Boeing 737. AFW are industry-leading experts in fixed wing flight operations.
We are looking for suitably experienced applicants (Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne) to join the Flight Operations team as a 737 First Officer.

You will be carrying out all tasks related to the operation of the aircraft
You’ll be safely operating the aircraft in flight to support the safety and well-being of the crew, and the safety of cargo
You will ensure we operate in accordance with Civil Aviation Rules and with the instructions contained in the Flight Operations Exposition
You’ll report all incidents or accidents, including reporting requirements
You will be responsible for completing any relevant company records related to flights
Now let’s talk about you:
To succeed in this role, you need to have the following:
Australian Airline Transport Pilot License
New Zealand Pilot License
New Zealand Class 1 Medical Prior to Induction
Permanent right to reside and work in Australia
Total flying experience in excess of 1500 hours – any B737 time will be an advantage
You also must be:
Approachable for both internal and external customers and staff
Confident with strong communication and technical skills
Able to make effective decisions under pressure
Effective team player
