As a Director/Partner in Audit at Gravita’s Bristol office, you will be pivotal in advancing our audit practice. Your role will involve leading high-quality audit engagements, building strong client relationships, and generating new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Growth:
Develop and implement strategies to grow Gravita’s audit services market share in the Bristol region.
Lead, inspire and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Client Relationship & Business Generation:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in audit services.
Utilise your expertise to provide specialised insights and drive confidence among clients.
Identify and secure new business opportunities, directly contributing to the firm’s growth and long-term success.
Represent Gravita at industry events and local networking functions to enhance the firm’s reputation within the audit sector.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring rigorous review, adherence to financial reporting standards, and superior service delivery.
Optimise workflows and enhance service processes to boost team performance and client outcomes.
Team Development & Mentorship:
Mentor and develop team members, guiding them to become future leaders within the firm.
Contribute to recruitment and retention strategies, building a dynamic and resilient team.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
ACA or ACCA qualification with significant post-qualification experience in audit practice.
RI qualification is essential, reinforcing your specialised expertise and commitment to quality.
A proven track record in managing audit engagements and generating new business.
Exceptional technical expertise in audit and financial reporting, with a keen eye for regulatory compliance and risk management.
Strong commercial insight and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and nurture robust client relationships.
A collaborative mindset with the proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
