Role: Audit Staff
Profile Summary:
Detail-oriented audit professional with 1–3 years of specialized experience in U.S. audit processes across diverse industries. Proficient in GAAP compliance, internal control testing, and documentation standards aligned with PCAOB and SOX frameworks. Demonstrates strong analytical skills, clear client communication, and cross-border collaboration with U.S.-based teams. Committed to continuous learning and excellence in Assurance & Advisory services.
Core Responsibilities:
• Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations in accordance with US GAAP and US GAAS.
• Prepare and assess financial statements; evaluate internal controls across various industries.
• Support planning, execution, and completion phases of audits.
• Perform in-depth research on US GAAP and GAAS standards as needed.
• Manage timelines effectively to meet project milestones and client expectations.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff; guide their technical and professional development.
• Foster positive client relationships through reliable communication and service delivery.
• Regularly update supervisors/managers on project status and emerging client concerns.
• Adhere to firm and Assurance & Advisory (A&A) departmental policies.
• Utilize downtime productively; maintain compliance with CPE (Continuing Professional Education) requirements.
Job Requirements:
• CPA (completed or in progress) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a public accounting or US-based CPA firm
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; responsive to US counterparts
• Industry experience in any sector (Commercial, Manufacturing, Technology, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project execution abilities
• Effective team collaborator with the ability to work independently
• Proactive approach with a sense of urgency towards deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with audit tools like CaseWare, CaseView, or IDEA (preferred)
Office Location: Ahmedabad or Hyderabad
Shift Time: 10:30 AM IST-7 PM IST
