Job Description
• Prepare and maintain financial records for Australian clients, including but not limited to, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
• Prepare and submit tax returns for clients in a timely manner
• Communicate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide them with accurate and timely financial information
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for clients
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting procedures
• Keep up-to-date with changes in Australian accounting standards and regulations
