Job description 1 – Accounting Senior – Qualified
The candidate will ideally be an individual working in offshore accounting firm and worked on providing accounting, tax, book-keeping and compliance services to Australian CA/accounting, tax and business services firms.
We are particularly looking for individuals who can assist with the following Australian accounting, tax and compliance services:
· Reporting skills –experience in preparing Australian income tax return for individuals, sole trader business, partnership, trust and private company
· Preparing unaudited financial statements for entities
· Experience in preparing BAS/GST returns
· Can do payroll – single touch payroll
· Should know softwares such as MYOB/XERO/Handi Tax & Handi Ledger
· Experience with ASIC/ATO statutory and administrative work would be good to have
· Important to have English-speaking skills. Should be able to communicate (speak and write) in English fluently
· Client facing role - Should have the ability to build strong relationships
· Can do attitude – positive mindset and working integrally to support our Australian clients.
· Should be willing to work outside normal business hours
· End to end project management – kickstart to performing the work to responding to client queries (oral and written) to billing
· A confident demeanour and the ability to interface with clients, and earn their respect
· Strong attention to detail
· An entrepreneurial spirit
· Daily timesheets on excel
