About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Australian Tax Accountant to join our team at Counthq. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing expert tax services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for Australian companies, partnerships, trusts, and groups using Xero software.
• Individual Tax Returns: Prepare individual tax returns with precision and attention to detail.
• Software Expertise: Utilize popular tax software used in Australia, specifically Xero, to deliver efficient and effective tax solutions.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with daily Australian clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their tax needs are met.
Requirements
• Communication Skills: Possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with foreign clients over the phone.
• Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Australian KPO firm, with expertise in preparing Australian tax returns and financial statements.
• Academic Qualification: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, or be a CA/CS/ICWA qualified professional.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM start, 8.5 hours per day.
