Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Australian Tax and Payroll Accountant located in Noida with atleast 3-5 years of relevant experience. As the Accountant, you will be responsible for handling tax filing, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with clients globally, offering expert accounting and tax knowledge.
Required set of knowledge for Tax profile
• Preparing and lodging Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and self-managed super funds (SMSFs).
• Preparing and submitting Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) for GST and PAYG compliance.
• Ensuring accurate reporting of Taxable Payments Annual Reports (TPAR) for contractors in relevant industries.
• Managing compliance with Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) obligations, including calculations and lodgments.
• Handling Capital Gains Tax (CGT) reporting and calculations for asset disposals.
• Providing guidance on Division 7A compliance for loans and distributions in private companies.
• Advising clients on superannuation contributions and tax-effective retirement planning.
• In depth knowledge of Tax software, Xero, XPM etc.
Required set of knowledge for Payroll profile
• Payroll Processing: Proficient in end-to-end payroll for small, medium, and large businesses, including timesheet management, salary calculations, and deductions.
• Taxation Knowledge: Expertise in calculating and reporting PAYG withholding, superannuation guarantee contributions (SGC), and payroll tax compliance.
• Single Touch Payroll (STP): Experience with STP lodgments to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in payroll software such as Xero Payroll, MYOB, SAP SuccessFactors, Chris21, and ADP.
• Leave Management: Managing employee entitlements such as annual leave, long service leave, and sick leave.
• Superannuation Administration: Ensuring timely and accurate contributions to employee superannuation funds.
• Reporting: Generating payroll reports for management, including wage summaries, tax deductions, and compliance data.
