Automotive Technical Customer Support Lead
RGB Halo Kits – Premium Automotive Lighting Brand
Location: Tempe, AZ (Relocating to Gilbert, AZ April/May 2026)

RGB Halo Kits is a fast-growing automotive lighting brand specializing in custom multicolor headlights, DRL boards, underglow, and advanced LED systems for car enthusiasts nationwide.
We design, build, test, and support premium lighting products in-house. Our customers are passionate about their vehicles and expect expert-level support.
We are currently operating in Tempe and relocating to a larger Gilbert facility in April/May 2026 as part of our continued growth.
We are building a stronger in-house leadership team as we scale.
Position Overview
We are hiring an Automotive Technical Customer Support Lead to oversee and elevate our customer experience.
This is not a basic call center role.
This position requires automotive knowledge, technical confidence, and leadership ability. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues, improving support systems, reducing warranty errors, and serving as the bridge between customers and our production team.
You will set the standard for support quality inside the company.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Customer Support
Respond to automotive lighting support inquiries via email and ticket system
Diagnose installation issues involving RGB, RGBW, DRL boards, and Flow Series systems
Identify install error versus product defect
Guide customers through troubleshooting steps clearly and confidently
Reduce unnecessary warranty replacements
Warranty & Returns Oversight
Review and approve warranty claims
Analyze return trends and identify root causes
Improve documentation and troubleshooting processes
Cross-Team Communication
Coordinate with warehouse and production teams regarding build accuracy
Flag recurring product issues
Help improve installation guides and technical documentation
Support System Improvement
Streamline ticket workflows
Improve response quality and clarity
Help build scalable support systems as the company grows
Ideal Candidate
You likely:
Have strong automotive aftermarket knowledge
Understand 12V automotive electrical systems
Have hands-on experience with wiring, LED lighting, or aftermarket installs
Communicate clearly and professionally
Can take ownership of customer situations
Think logically under pressure
Bonus if you have:
Automotive shop experience
Technical service advisor background
Experience with Zendesk or support ticket platforms
Experience reducing warranty claims
Compensation
$22–28 per hour based on experience and technical knowledge
