AWS Cloud Engineer

AWS Cloud Engineer, will be responsible for design and development of the cloud based Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This role is a hands-on technical position that must be capable of working with other cloud engineers on the team engaging with the platform/product owner. Required technical skills: Experience working in a fully CI/CD managed environment. Tools such as Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Code Commit, Bamboo or similar AWS EMR, EC2, S3, Redshift, Lambda etc. Experience with infrastructure as code Terraform, CloudFormation CloudFormation scripting is key skill required for this roleGeneral AWS skills+ Bitbucket+ Bamboo. More specifically someone who can write a Cloud formation script. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing AWS cloud environments, proficiency in source code management using Bitbucket, and expertise in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Bamboo. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, automating build, test, and deployment processes. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications with AWS services. Monitor AWS infrastructure, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues. Manage source code repositories and version control using Bitbucket. Work closely with DevOps and development teams to improve deployment strategies and automation. Implement best practices for cloud security, cost management, and operational efficiency. Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
