The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) Partner team is looking for an experienced Partner Leader to lead a small cohort of strategic partner relationships for AWS Professional Services. You'll drive transformative IT projects for customer, focusing on IT Strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations, scaling through our ProServe Partner network. The PPL is a trusted advisor who collaborates with ProServe sales and delivery teams to ensure sellers are working backwards from our partners, customers and proposing solutions that optimize the delivery of customer business outcomes.

PPLs support partner, and customer relationship management while enabling sellers to lead partner included sales activity ensuring customer satisfaction for a defined set of partners and customers. PPSMs are primarily focused on delivering outcomes through their teams, removing roadblocks, and ensuring their partners, and teams have the tools and support to achieve their goals.

Your experience gained within the technology sector (and partner ecosystem), will equip you with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for customers. You will demonstrate proficiency in sales methodologies and CRM systems coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities. PPLs will be measured on the performance of their partners against key metrics including but not limited to Partner Pipeline, Revenue, and Billable Bookings.

The AWS Partner Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help our partners and customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key job responsibilities
As an experienced ProServe Partner Leader, you will be responsible for:
Developing and supporting execution of partner involved sales strategies to meet team targets and drive revenue growth
Managing partner relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying new opportunities
Leveraging deep AWS knowledge to guide sellers in proposing optimal solutions
Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting to optimize operational processes and manage risk

A day in the life
As a ProServe BCAP Partner Leader you will establish and grow business and technical relationships and manage the day-to-day interactions associated with your strategic BCAP pursuits. You will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth, a tighter BCAP plus ProServe relationship, major strategic agreements, and overall end customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a business background that enables them to engage at the BCAP Sr. Partner and CXO level. This includes the channel experience to understand the needs and capabilities of their partner, and the sales background to easily interact with Clients and sales/field reps. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

The Business Consulting and Advisory ProServe Partner Team is redefining the Cloud industry by building and coordinating the Amazon partnering strategy with the Business Consulting and Advisory Partners beyond IT.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
5+ years of professional or military experience
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
Bachelor's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
