Job Description: Backend Developer Intern

Location: New York, NY - NON-REMOTE (IN OFFICE ONLY)
Type: Paid Internship
Duration: 6 months
The internship will require in-person working from our NYC Headquarters.

This internship program has a minimum 4-month duration, and is considered a paid internship role.
Responsibilities:
• Learn how to ensure systems consistency and create a more seamless experience for users
• Learn how to and collaborate with front-end engineers and team members to design codes that will help enhance user experience
• Learn how to analyze data and codes to reduce errors and identify areas that need improvement
• Learn how to and develop new ideas that could help increase efficiency
• Learn how to coordinate department needs and make suggestions regarding its technical direction
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in full-stack development.
• Proficiency or coursework in coding languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Interest in Python is a plus.
• Eagerness to understand CI/CD processes.
• Interest in DPI and its applications in network development.
• Cloud platform experience (GCP or AWS) is a plus, including cloud functions, Firebase, and real-time database technologies.
• Exposure or interest in front-end technologies such as React and React Native.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
