The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, with substantial experience in representing creditors, investors, distressed companies, and other stakeholders in large-scale, complex U.S. and cross-border bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.Duties:Represent first and second lien lenders, bondholders, hedge funds, and other creditors in bankruptcy and insolvency matters.Act in contested U.S. and multinational insolvencies, restructurings, and bankruptcies.Handle multidisciplinary cross-border deals, particularly in Latin America and Eastern Europe.Appear before trial and appellate courts in complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 matters.Manage and execute large-scale bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings.Requirements:4-7 years of substantive bankruptcy and restructuring experience.Experience in representing creditors, investors, distressed companies, and other stakeholders.Proven track record in complex U.S. and cross-border bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.Familiarity with large law firm operations and practices.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar.Skills:Excellent academic credentials.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Superior written and verbal communication abilities.Proven ability to handle complex legal matters and cross-border transactions.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
