The ideal candidate is a team player who will be a part of our 'SME (small and medium enterprises) Consulting' Team who are responsible for turning around businesses and creating success stories for our clients!
We're looking for someone with a basic understanding of business and financial reporting, success metrics of business performance, and suggesting improvements in a cross-functional environment for our clients.
Responsibilities : (Basic knowledge of these responsibilities is good enough - we'll train you to become a master of numbers!)
• Analysing the financial statements of companies from a business perspective and suggesting operational improvements.
• Being competent with client communication : sharing the progress of the work &; minutes of the meetings. If there are issues, issue specific calls and updates.
• Day-to-day review of book-keeping of clients - billing cycles, collection cycles, payroll expenses, and review of business budget preparation
• Understanding the business models of various SME (small and medium enterprises) and their key performance metrics that are to be tracked and reviewed.
• Work with the accounting staff of our clients and conduct performance evaluations of their respective KPIs.
• Improve the processes of the client including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and taxes.
• Understanding how to prepare periodic MIS Budget vs Actual Variances, Activity reports, statutory compliance status, etc.
• Present recommendations to management on short and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested - leading to Financial Planning &; analytics (FP&;A) reporting.
Qualification :
• Bcom / Mcom Fresher with a keen eye for detail
• Someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hard!
