Job Description :Position Title : Offshore BI Developer Location : Bangalore, IndiaExperience : Overall 7+ years of experience in IT Responsibilities : - Formulate & Implement BI COE standards and best practices for report development for all the BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Cognos and Bobj) - Partner closely with Data Scientists in assessing, developing, and implementing new predictive models and advanced analytical solutions - Design and develop BI reports by implementing Governance methodology to improve report load/extract times and achieve maximum performance - Provide front line support to customers when needed as part of helping them in improving report performance - Refine and automate processes, track issues, and document changes. - Help customers in identifying the right type of BI tool based on their business needs - Develop and help customers with Advanced Analytics data models Required Skillsets : - 3+ years of experience in Report design and development along with supporting highly complex BI applications of strategic or functional importance including: integration with data sources; highly automated data refresh processes; best-in-class data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate critical insights to drive decision making - 3+ years of experience in relational database design, data modelling, and structured query language (SQL) - Experience in multiple business processes or organizations and experience in multiple IT disciplines is also beneficial - Strong verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, analytical and interpersonal skills - Excellent presentation, interpersonal and influential skills with high degree of customer focus - Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, conceptualization and organizational skills - Ability to work independently as well as being a collaborative team member - Able to manage own duties including setting priorities - Having good knowledge of Caterpillar policies, standards and procedures, with broad understanding of Caterpillar's organization is a plus Top candidates will be : - 3+ years of experience as BI Developer, report design and development in Power BI and Tableau - Expert in BI Report & Dashboard development in Power BI and Tableau. - 3+ years of experience in relational database design, data modelling, and structured query language (SQL) - Knowledge in multiple BI tools - Experience in Snowflake, AWS, and Azure cloud services Work Timings: 1:00PM to 10:00PM IST (Approx
