Super Bookkeeper required for rapidly growing lighting manufacturing company based in Kings Cross in central London. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic bookkeeper to provide maternity cover for our existing accountant.
The right candidate must be someone who can hit the ground running, with a 'can-do’ attitude and the ability and initiative to handle all aspects of bookkeeping as well as technical expertise.
Salary based upon experience.
The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports.
Responsibilities
• Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of company
• Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Management of annual leave and sickness leave tracking
• Liaising with external Accountants and assisting with completion of quarterly VAT returns and other official paperwork pertaining to the role.
• Ensure timely processing of payroll
Skills and qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Xero or equivalent accounting software
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Detail oriented
Languages: English fluency is essential.
