If this sounds like you, we’d love to invite you to apply for our new Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer position at Pest2Kill – Sydney’s largest independently owned pest control company, based in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs.
The Role
Pest2Kill is a multi-award-winning pest control company with offices in Bondi Junction, Sydney CBD, Mosman, Turramurra and Drummoyne. We’ve built a fun, high-performing team culture grounded in mutual respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer to support our growing business. This part-time role (30 hours/week) can be spread across 4 or 5 days, with hybrid work options available.
You’ll be working closely with our CEO and CFO, managing our day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. But we’re looking for more than just a bookkeeper — we’re looking for someone with fresh ideas who can help us streamline processes and improve systems. There’s plenty of room to make this role your own!
Key Responsibilities
Weekly payroll processing
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Accounts payable and receivable
BAS preparation and lodgement support
Financial reporting and cash flow tracking
Xero file maintenance
Working with external accountants as needed
Supporting process improvements across finance/admin
Occasional general office admin tasks
Contract
Permanent part-time contract (with 3-month probation)
25-30 hours per week across 4–5 days (flexible)
Hybrid work arrangement (mix of WFH and Bondi Junction office)
Salary: $70K–$90K + super (pro-rata)

What We’re Looking For in a Candidate
Proven experience in bookkeeping / accounts roles
Strong knowledge of Xero (essential)
Previous experience managing payroll
Confidence in preparing financial reports and supporting BAS
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Problem-solving mindset and systems-focused
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience in a service-based or trades business (desirable)
