Job Description
Have you often found your work consistent, accurate, and with minimum errors? Do you possess knowledge of accounting and understand how to use accounting software? Netreo is looking for an acute-minded bookkeeper who would be supporting the Finance team to record and maintain its financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments., and help timely and accurate financial performance closing, as well as keep track of its Accounts Receivables.
What You’ll Do
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
Process expenses, bills and bill payments
Enter invoice and invoice payments
Update and maintain the general ledger
Responsible for Accounts Receivables and maintain the Company Outstanding to Minimum
Interacting with Domestic and International Clients for payments and Reconciliations
Work with cross-functional team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of issuance of invoices
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
Bank reconciliation for various accounts including international accounts
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Make recommendations on how to streamline the process
Ensure timely and accurate data entry for month end closing
Support payroll processing and reporting including commissions
Prepare reports and other documents as required
What You’ll Have in Experience and Skills
At least 5 years of experience of professional accounting
Bachelor's or equivalent degree with Accounting or Finance related field from an accredited institution
Technical Acumen
Proficient SAGE Intact, Avalara, Chargify / Maxio, Authorize.net, Merchant / Credit Card Processing Systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel / Google sheets)
Business/ Process Acumen
Understanding of accounting knowledge (US GAAP will be added advantage)
Professionalism and organization skills, with high attention to detail
Detail oriented with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Intellectual curiosity, self-motivated and possessing a positive attitude
