Job Description
Property Service Company is actively seeking a Full-time Bookkeeper. The qualified candidate must be able to work independently, meet deadlines and perform full cycle bookkeeping duties.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Diploma in accounting or bookkeeping
Minimum 3 years of recent in office experience as a bookkeeper.
Skills
Must have strong understanding of accounting principles and controls
Experience with Sage 50 and Microsoft Office
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise diplomacy and discretion
Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Must be able to follow procedures, protocols and instruction
Language
Excellent English, spoken and written (Required)
Responsibilities
Perform full cycle bookkeeping
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivables and Collections
Prepare bi-weekly payroll including issuance of Records of Employment and T4s
GST / EHC / Various CRA payments and installments
Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist accountant to complete corporate year end working papers
other general bookkeeping duties
Various tasks, as required.
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
To be discussed based on experience.
