Job Description
We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper/admin assistant to work at our busy public house and associated businesses.
Flexible working hours up to 30 hours per week based in our on-site office – possible job share arrangements are available. Immediate start.
Sage 50 accounts and Sage 50 payroll experience essential.
A driving licence is essential due to our rural location – 20 minutes from Harrogate and 10 minutes from Ripon. A small amount of local driving may be required in order to assist management when necessary.
Duties to include:
Weekly cash reconciliation
Supplier invoice posting and reconciliation
Supplier and other payments
Bank reconciliations
Administration of bank account
Monthly payroll from clocking system
Communication with HMRC for PAYE/NI and VAT
Pension administration
Quarterly VAT returns
Preparation of TB including accruals and prepayments for annual statutory accounts
Process hotel room and restaurant table enquires
Collate daily end of day reports
Holiday cover for rotas and stock ordering.
Ad hoc duties as required
