Job Overview

This position is part time with growth opportunities. We are seeking an independent, detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant to join our the team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our operations by managing various bookkeeping and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office functionality. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial processes.

Duties

Assist with daily administrative tasks, including data updating, and document management.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Support payroll processing and maintain employee records as required.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Utilize accounting software such as QBO, QBD, Word & Gdrive programs for various financial tasks.
Collaborate with team members to streamline office operations and improve efficiency.
Prepare reports and presentations as needed for management review.
Able to work outside of standard business hours occasionally.
Requirements

Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar clerical role.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QBO, QBD, Excel, Gsheets.
Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account analysis.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
