About the Role:

The primary purpose of the position is to assist the members of our growing community in meeting their financial needs and goals by offering them superior products and services. This is accomplished by providing the highest quality of service to both internal and external members. This position is responsible for the overall management of a Credit Union facility, including directing branch operations and ensuring that the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Establishes realistic, achievable, and measurable sales growth goals for branch employees, including the level of quality member service as measured by member experience surveys. Directs, develops, motivates, and disciplines branch personnel and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
Provides coaching – Can interpret performance results, find opportunities to drive success, and hold others accountable for results. Delivering and presenting a Bright Service environment and coaching to an exceptional Bright Conversation.
Responsible for the security of assigned branch employees, members, and assets; inventory, control, and accounting of branch cash and cash equivalents; compliance with all federal and state regulations; quality of branch audits; compliance with standard credit union operating policies and procedures.
Responsible for the management and training of branch employees in the area of paying and receiving, opening and servicing share and loan accounts, and ancillary credit union products and services.
Manages the development and implementation of operations and capital budgets of assigned branches and allocates resources to deliver quality services, maximize service hours, and lower operating costs.
Serves on project teams as needed to develop and implement new products and services, improve existing products, services, or processes, and write new or update existing credit union policies and procedures.
Manages, with the assistance of the AVP of Facilities and Security, the appearance and upkeep of assigned branch facility.
At times, this position may require support and assistance in other branch locations based on business need.”
Weekend hours may be required.

Performance Measurements:

To provide outstanding service to internal and external members as defined by our service standards and promises.
Identify the financial needs of each member and offer a credit union solution.
To maintain and develop a qualified staff sufficient to meet the needs of members.
To complete performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.
To develop and maintain business partner relationships within the community and area schools.
Acquire additional education relative to branch management or the credit union industry.
Drive an investment solution environment.
Minimum Expectations of Knowledge and Skills:

Experience - Five years to ten years of similar or related experience.

Education- A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business school.

Interpersonal Skills- Passionate about providing a member experience that delivers superior service and solutions to improve our members’ financial lives. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. The ability to create partnerships within the organization and our partner vendors.

Other Skills- Communicates effectively and confidently and comfortable engaging all members.

Compliance:

Every employee must uphold the credit union's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures. Specific functions with B.S.C.U. will consider the awareness of unusual or suspicious activity that is relevant to the department.

In addition to any other assigned training courses, online B.S.A. and O.F.A.C. courses must be completed at least annually, as made available by the Training and Compliance Department.Maintains comprehensive
knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Identification Program, U.S.A. Patriot Act, O.F.A.C., Fair Lending, and Credit Card Act.
