About us
IDEX is a design and content agency that’s based out of Bangalore and having partner led operations across India & the Middle East. We Provide On-demand creative staffing solutions for Creative Operations Teams at leading global brands in eCommerce - Flipkart / Cult.fit / Myntra / Lenskart/ Spinny / Cleartrip etc. as their creative delivery and staffing partner. We develop top-of-the-line creative content (design and copy) for them, both on-site & offsite.
About the role
We’re looking for an ambitious and energetic Creative Business Thinker with excellent market entry strategy, networking and sales skills, to work as our full-time Business Development Manager. As our BDM you’ll be given the responsibility to expand our clientele by being the face of the company and apply an effective sales strategy customised to respective prospects.
You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Expectations and responsibilities
Develop a growth strategy focused on acquiring new clients and agencies across industries
Conduct research to identify new markets, customer needs and leads
Work according to the business targets set by the management
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
In the conversion stage – make demos, meeting clients, getting briefs and briefing the team, and coordinating with them to deliver quality
Maintain sales trackers for the business team and management to project/bill/analyse
Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Keep records of generated leads, converted leads, revenue, estimates, invoices etc.
Provide reliable feedback and post-onboarding support
Ability to handle all aspects of client and brand development by building long-term relationships with new and existing clients
Help develop a cohesive team to understand and deliver client requirements
Needs to have and be able to drive lots of contacts in the industry.
Proactivity, accountability, ownership, and leadership qualities must
Building the Idex tribe – contribute and supervise/ create content for social media pages and work towards promoting brand IDEX.
Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role in advertising/design/media/PR/event industry
Proven sales track record
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in Proficiency in English, MS Office and sales/ marketing tools
Design/Content/Advertising Market knowledge is a plus
Excellent Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport and understand clients pain points
Passion and hunger to drive the business goals
Time management and planning skills
Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
