Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, with a proven track record of gathering and analyzing requirements, defining business needs, and providing data-driven solutions. Knowledge of Big Data and data pipelines will be a significant plus, as you will collaborate with data teams to ensure seamless integration of business requirements with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for development teams.
• Data Analysis: Analyze business data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and help design solutions to optimize workflows and business operations.
• Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation of business requirements, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with development, data, and IT teams to ensure business requirements are met through technical solutions.
• Big Data & Data Pipelines: Leverage knowledge of Big Data technologies and data pipelines to support data-driven decision-making and ensure efficient data flow across business systems.
• Testing & Validation: Assist in the validation and testing of new systems and processes to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment of project goals and timelines.
• Project Management: Support project management activities, including planning, monitoring, and reporting on project progress.
Key Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in gathering business requirements and delivering solutions.
• Big Data Knowledge: Understanding of Big Data concepts and technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
• Data Pipeline Experience: Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration tools.
• Business Analysis Skills: Proven ability to gather requirements, define business processes, and produce detailed documentation.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Tools & Technologies: Proficiency with business analysis tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar; experience with SQL or other data querying languages is a plus.
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, is preferred.
