Job Description
A Business Analyst role to work in Operations and Regulatory Technology area to support a critical Consent Order workstream.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis, Functional Requirements, Project management
• Analyse large data sets used for operating and reporting ledger purposes, as well as regulatory reporting- to assess data quality issues, trace the root cause by coordinating cross functionally and across applications and raise remediation requirements to application dev teams.
• Work in close co-ordination with the development leads on enhancements and defects, and assist with troubleshooting / resolution of Consent Order related Data quality workstreams.
• Engage successfully with software developers and testers to ensure quality delivery, on time
• Planning, estimating, managing risks and issues, project reporting, managing stakeholders, and building strong relationships with the business
• Assist in project execution through JIRA, providing tracking to technical teams and status updates to internal and business stakeholders
Qualifications:
• 5-6 years’ experience as Business Analyst with any Investment/ Global Bank in Foreign Exchange, Trade Processing, Risk Management areas
• Familiarity with accounting entries posted to ledger & ledger close processes.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development methodologies
Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to transform business requirements into precise functional/technical specifications
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
• Able to prioritize conflicting tasks, identifying what is essential and focusing on such
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
