B2B COMMERCIAL FINANCE
Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in the UK and have experience in the UK market)
ABOUT US:
We are a fast-growing commercial finance firm based in Scotland, specializing in bespoke financial solutions that empower businesses. As we expand our B2B financing division—offering secured and unsecured lending, asset and invoice financing—we are looking for a strategic and experienced professional to oversee the entire business development process working in conjunction with both the company's Managing Director and also the firm's Chief Operating Officer.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Sales Operations and Business Development Manager to lead and scale the growth of our B2B financing unit. The ideal candidate will have experience managing sales operations, both internal and external sales forces, and team structuring, with a focus on the commercial finance sector. You will be responsible for managing our current external sales agent force, as well as optimizing systems and processes to support rapid business growth.
We are currently using Monday.com as our CRM system and Brevo for email campaigns, and part of your role will involve optimizing these tools to ensure efficient sales operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SALES STRATEGY
Design and implement a comprehensive sales and business development strategy to meet ambitious growth targets.
Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closing, with a focus on secured and unsecured lending, asset financing, and invoice financing.
SALES AGENT MANAGEMENT:
Oversee and manage our external sales agent force, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving performance.
Develop recruitment, training, and management plans to build a high-performing external and internal sales team.
SALES TOOLS & CRM:
Optimize our use of Monday.com (CRM) for tracking leads, sales activities, and performance metrics.
Integrate Brevo for email campaigns into the overall sales strategy, ensuring the most efficient lead nurturing and outreach efforts.
Incorporate LinkedIn outreach and advertising to further drive business growth.
PERFORMANCE & GROWTH TRACKING:
Set up systems to track and analyze sales data, providing actionable insights to improve conversion rates and overall efficiency.
Monitor and adjust sales performance strategies to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales management, business development, and scaling sales operations, ideally within the commercial finance sector.
Strong understanding of managing external sales forces and team leadership.
Expertise in CRM systems, particularly Monday.com, and email marketing platforms like Brevo.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
